Terms of Service
These are the rules for using Yosta — our portfolio builder, analytics, Brand Inquiry Inbox, Creator Shop, and everything else on the platform. Please read them before getting started.
Plain English Summary
You own your portfolio content. Only post work you actually created. Don’t fake stats or misrepresent your metrics. You can cancel anytime and your portfolio stays live until the period ends. We offer a 30-day refund on first-time Pro subscriptions. We can remove accounts that break these rules.
1. Who Can Use Yosta
Eligibility
Yosta is open to UGC creators, content creators, and brands who are at least 16 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide — including your name, social handles, portfolio content, and creator niche — is accurate and belongs to you.
Two Account Types
Yosta supports two roles: Creator accounts (to build and publish a portfolio) and Brand accounts (to search for and contact creators). Each person or organisation may hold one account per role. Creating duplicate accounts to bypass restrictions or game creator rankings is a violation of these Terms.
Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Keep your login credentials private. If you suspect your account has been accessed without your permission, notify us immediately at supportyosta@gmail.com.
2. Your Portfolio Content & Intellectual Property
You Own Your Work
Every piece of content you upload to Yosta — your portfolio videos, photos, case studies, brand collaboration examples, and written copy — belongs to you. Yosta does not claim ownership of your creative work.
License You Grant Yosta
By uploading content to your Yosta portfolio, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating your public portfolio page, showing it on the Discover page, and using it in Yosta's own marketing (e.g., creator spotlights or feature previews). We will not alter or misrepresent your work.
Content You Are Responsible For
You are solely responsible for the content on your Yosta portfolio. You must only upload content you created or have the rights to use. This includes the UGC videos, brand logos, and testimonials displayed on your page. Do not upload content that infringes copyright, contains false claims about brands, or violates platform rules.
Social Stats Accuracy
The follower counts and engagement metrics you manually enter on Yosta for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or any custom platform must reflect your real accounts. Entering stats that don't belong to you, or artificially inflating your metrics, is strictly prohibited.
3. What You Must Not Do on Yosta
Fake or Misleading Portfolios
Do not upload portfolio content you did not create, claim fake brand collaborations, or misrepresent your follower count or engagement rates. Yosta's analytics and Discover features are trusted by brands — fraudulent portfolios damage that trust and will result in immediate account removal.
Misusing Analytics Data
Your Yosta portfolio analytics show you who viewed your page and from where. You may not use this data to harass, stalk, or send unsolicited messages to specific individuals or companies, even if you can identify the viewer.
Harmful or Illegal Content
Your portfolio must not contain content that is illegal, defamatory, violent, sexually explicit (without appropriate age gating), or that violates any third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards without notice.
Platform Integrity
You must not attempt to scrape Yosta's creator database, reverse-engineer the platform, use bots to interact with creator profiles, or manipulate creator search rankings through artificial means.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Available Plans
Yosta offers three plans: Free (basic portfolio, up to 2 videos & 2 photos, 1 service package, 2 client testimonials — no analytics or inquiry inbox), Pro ($9/month or $5/month billed annually — unlimited videos, photos, services & testimonials, Advanced Analytics, Brand Inquiry Inbox, Creator Shop, and access to all premium templates), and Custom (contact us for a quote — includes a fully custom portfolio design, custom domain integration, and priority support).
Billing
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise Yosta to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing cycle. All prices are in USD.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan — your portfolio and content remain intact.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day refund window from the date of your first Pro subscription payment. If you are not satisfied, contact us at supportyosta@gmail.com within 30 days of your initial charge and we will issue a full refund. Refunds are not available for renewals or after the 30-day window has passed. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Grace Period
If your Pro subscription expires, we provide a 7-day grace period during which you retain access to Pro features. After the grace period, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
Plan Changes
We may adjust our pricing with 30 days' advance notice. If you're on an active paid plan, the new price will apply at your next renewal. If you don't accept the new price, cancel before your renewal date.
5. Disclaimers & Limitations
We're a Portfolio Platform — Not an Agency
Yosta provides the tools for creators to showcase their work and for brands to discover them. We are not a talent agency, management company, or party to any deal between a creator and a brand. Any collaborations, contracts, or payments negotiated through connections made on Yosta are solely between the creator and the brand.
Analytics Are Indicative, Not Guaranteed
The visitor data shown in your Yosta analytics dashboard (e.g., company name, location) is derived from available signals and may not always be 100% accurate. We do not guarantee the precision of viewer identification.
Service Availability
Yosta is provided 'as is'. While we aim for high uptime, we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We're not liable for any lost deals, missed opportunities, or income resulting from platform downtime or technical errors.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yosta's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
6. Termination
By You
You can delete your Yosta account at any time from your settings. Your public portfolio will go offline immediately. Your data will be deleted within 90 days, except where retention is legally required.
By Yosta
We may suspend or permanently remove your account if you violate these Terms — particularly for fake portfolio content, inflated social stats, or harassment of other users. We'll notify you unless we're legally prevented from doing so.
7. Governing Law & Disputes
Resolving Issues First
If you have a dispute with Yosta, please reach out to us at supportyosta@gmail.com before escalating. We'll make a genuine effort to resolve any issue within 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration, except for claims eligible for small claims court proceedings.
