Privacy Policy

Yosta is built for creators. This policy explains exactly what data we collect when you build your portfolio, add your social stats, or use our analytics — and how we protect it.

Last updated: May 15, 2026 · Effective immediately

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Yosta platform — creators who build portfolios, brands who browse them, and visitors who view public portfolios. By using Yosta (including our Free, Pro, and Custom plans), you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What Information Yosta Collects

Account & Profile Information

When you sign up for Yosta, we collect your name, email address, and the username you choose. When you build your creator portfolio, we also store everything you add to it: your bio, creator niche, social media handles (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), service packages, pricing, and any content you upload — including portfolio videos, photos, and case studies.

Social Stats You Enter

Yosta allows you to manually enter your follower counts and engagement metrics from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and any custom platform you choose. This data is stored to display on your public portfolio. You are responsible for ensuring the stats you enter accurately reflect your real accounts.

Portfolio Analytics Data

When brands or visitors view your Yosta portfolio, our Analytics feature records information about that visit: the viewer's approximate location, the device type they're using (desktop or mobile), the traffic source (e.g., direct link, social media, or search), which sections and links on your portfolio they clicked, and — where detectable. This data is shown only to you inside your dashboard. We do not share individual visitor identities with third parties.

Usage & Device Data

We automatically collect technical data when you use Yosta: your browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, pages visited within the platform, and features you interact with (e.g., the Portfolio Builder, Brand Inquiry Inbox, Creator Shop). This helps us understand how the platform is used and improve it.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to Yosta Pro ($9/month or $5/month billed annually) or a Custom plan, your payment is processed securely by a third-party payment provider. Yosta does not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our servers.

Brand User Data

If you sign up as a Brand on Yosta, we collect your company name, email address, and any information you provide in your brand profile. We use this to enable you to browse the Discover page and send inquiries to creators.

2. How Yosta Uses Your Information

To Power Your Portfolio

The core reason we collect your data is to build and operate your Yosta creator portfolio. Your profile information, uploaded videos, manually entered social stats, and service packages are all used to generate your live public portfolio page — the link you share with brands.

To Show You Who Viewed Your Portfolio

Your visitor analytics data — who viewed your page, when, and for how long — is used exclusively to power the Analytics dashboard that only you can see. This lets you know exactly when to follow up with a brand.

To Run the Brand Inquiry Inbox & Leads Features

If brands or visitors submit an inquiry through your portfolio, that data flows into your Yosta Brand Inquiry Inbox (Leads) so you can track and manage every deal in one place. We use this data solely to deliver this feature to you.

To Improve Yosta

Aggregated, anonymised usage data — such as which features are most used, where creators drop off, and how often portfolios are viewed — helps us make the platform better for everyone. This analysis never identifies individual users.

To Communicate With You

We may email you about your account (e.g., subscription receipts, security alerts) and, with your consent, product updates and tips for growing your creator career. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

3. What Yosta Shares — and With Whom

Your Public Portfolio (By Design)

Your Yosta portfolio page — including your bio, niche, uploaded content, social stats, service packages, and pricing — is publicly accessible by design. This is the core purpose of the platform: to make you discoverable to brands. You control everything that appears on your public page. You can make your profile private or delete content at any time from your dashboard.

Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party providers who help us run Yosta — including cloud hosting (for storing your videos and images), analytics tools, payment processors, and email delivery services. All providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

We Never Sell Your Data

Yosta does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own commercial use. Ever.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by a court order, subpoena, or applicable law — or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud or protect the safety of our users.

4. How We Keep Your Data Secure

Technical Safeguards

Yosta uses HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest. Our infrastructure runs on enterprise-grade cloud providers. We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability testing.

Your Account Security

You're responsible for keeping your Yosta password safe. Use a strong, unique password and never share it. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at supportyosta@gmail.com.

Video & Content Storage

Videos and images you upload to your portfolio are stored on secure cloud servers. Only you can manage (upload, edit, or delete) your content. Portfolio visitors can view your content but cannot download it through the Yosta platform.

5. Your Rights Over Your Data

Access & Edit Your Data

You can view and edit your profile, portfolio content, social handles, and account settings at any time from your Yosta dashboard. Most of your personal data is directly accessible to you.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your Yosta account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, your public portfolio is immediately taken offline and your personal data is queued for deletion within 90 days, except where retention is legally required.

Opt Out of Marketing

You can unsubscribe from Yosta marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. You'll continue to receive essential account-related emails (e.g., subscription receipts).

Data Export

You can request a copy of your personal data by emailing supportyosta@gmail.com. We'll provide your profile data, portfolio metadata, and account activity in a readable format within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Age Requirement

Yosta is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at supportyosta@gmail.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Parental Guidance

If you are between 16 and 18 years old, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian before creating an account.

7. Updates to This Policy

When We Update This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Yosta adds new features (such as new portfolio templates, expanded analytics tools, or Creator Shop capabilities) or as legal requirements change. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or a banner in the platform at least 14 days before they take effect.
